I did the shocks myself...which took some doing. I had the airbags installed by a locate place for $480. The F550 didn't have all the wholes drilled by the leaf springs...thus the job turned out bigger than I thought. Did shocks first than airbags...shocks made a huge difference...air bags made did too. Highly recommend as my wife says ride is much better sitting on the couch.
