Mbacfp30 - Thanks for the update and description on the airbags and shocks. Perhaps I too should start with shocks and move to the airbags after. I don't get too much swaying but the slowing down on rough roads I definitely have encountered. I was going to go with the setup minus compressor and just go the manual route as I figured once you set it, it wouldn't be played with much. Our coach stays pretty much loaded the same way minus when I travel with a full tank of fresh water which isn't often.
RobbieH - There should be an aluminum sheet/pan protecting everything you show in your pic. I'm not certain of it's requirement but my assumption is it's there to protect the tank from road debris. I'm not sure what the side effects are in not having it or if a rock could do significant damage to it. Towards the middle of the coach close to your generator exhaust, you should see a 1/2" steel bar where it attaches too and then the outside is attached to the side of the coach. I couldn't tell from your pic if you have that or not. Mine is a 2015 so not sure what year you have or if they changed something midstream somewhere.
My Thor is in the shop otherwise I'd take a picture to show you.
