I'm really hoping updating the system, and making sure it's level before extending/retracting fixes the problem. If it happens again, depending on my finances, I might just put it up for sale and look for a used Dynamax or something else comparable. I"m with you. We filed lemon law on ours, right now I'm doing my best to see if it is going to fail again before the time runs out on it.
If it fails while you are out, my understanding is that Thor will send someone. I haven't had to call them on it, but I've seen others state that someone was there within a day or two.
