I'm not 100% sure I know what "turbo surge" is. I've seen YouTube videos where they video the gauge fluctuating at highway speed but my noise only occurs at start and stops after the load is off the truck. I don't believe my gauge moves when I hear the noise and kind of disagreed with the shop who told me but out of options at this point so need Ford to tell me one way or another if it's their problem.
If not, then I guess I'm back to dealing with MORryde :(
