Honestly, at the time, it was more money than I wanted to spend on shocks. King makes great shocks, but probably overkill for my application. Getting my loose cap fixed next Wednesday, so going forward I hope the shocks will help keep the cap from loosening again.

RobbieH, Is your cap cracked all the way around?
