On the Ford shocks having different parts number between the F450 and 550 even though they are the same on the exterior does not mean the valving is the same on the interior of them. They could be a different animal on the inside.
I strongly suggest that a rig should be weighed when it is loaded ready for travel. Without this you have no idea what tire pressure to run in the tires. If you just go up the max on the sidewall you could be putting to much pressure in it for your weight. This can cause the rig to wander more, wear tires in the center and also give less contact patch for emergency stopping if needed.
Hope you fellows don't mind my chatting with you guys even though I don't have a Thor Super C but there are not to many with Nexus Super C guys to talk to on RV net. Also even though they are not the same brand their are some areas that I'm sure we have in common.
