I don't hear much negative about Fleetwood Class C's. Sprinter reports are mixed. Most owners like them. Probably best driver/passenger comfort of all C's. Good mileage, compact parking. Most detractors DON'T have one and they cite poor parts and service support along high maintenance expense.
My buy-in on this is that you need to be in love the the idea it's an MB, or drive a lot to justify the additional costs. Most of us won't earn the price difference back in MPG savings. For example, we bought our coach in 2008 and haven't put 20,000 miles on it yet. It'd probably take 100,000 to buy back the additional price of a Sprinter over a Ford.
The specific coach? Wouldn't want it. Just not enough room. A corner bed that has to be made up from several couch cushions. Make up every night? Absolutely not. Same with turning Couch into Bed. Not.
You've been on the hunt around a year now. I'm just not sure what you're hunting FOR. You've gone from old to new, long to short, now gas to diesel.
What's the utilization? How many of you are traveling? How far? How long? Where? Which seasons?
