throttle return springd

Question

I have a 1993 Pace Arrow diesel. Once again, I am up against weakening throttle return springs (2) such that on occasion the idle RPM is at 1000. Cummins reports that the part is obsolete. Anyone know a source to get replacements? Thanks

take it to a nut and bolt store,here in ohio we have a business that the only thing they sell is nuts and bolts, and springs.

Many of the older Ace Hardware stores, or older hardware stores in general, have kits of many different sizes of springs.

Also might be possible to find a Cummins shop that might have some obsolete parts still in stock.

Check at a NAPA parts store.

Check to see if the Dorman #59209 springs may fit. They are used on a ton of different vehicles during the 1993 era. They are available online from several places.
