Tiffin 36la steps
My steps just started making a rachetting noise when it goes into store mode...goes out quite but coming in is the problem. I am assuming my motor is going bad.. What do ya think?

Have you tried a little silicone spray lube on the gears and joints underneath?
Mine sometimes does what you're describing, a little lube fixes it every time.
