My Allegro is a lot older, but I'll relay my experience anyway.
I have a bunk above the cab (Kwikee swing-down), a couch that becomes a bed (not a pull-out so much as a fold-down type thing) and twins in the rear bedroom. Technically can sleep 6 - though the bunk is tight as is the couch.
As the kids get older, they naturally want their own sleeping space. Particularly if they bring friends camping. My daughter is 11 so she and a friend get a kick out of the cab bunk. I figure that will last maybe one more season. My 14-year-old son and 16-year-old step-son obviously want their own space.
As an aside, the twins in the rear bedroom are great for the teens and tweens, but not ideal when my GF and I camp sans kids. Over the winter, I'm going to construct a portable queen arrangement that will straddle the twins for next season.
So I guess the answer depends on how long you plan to keep the coach. Given the ages of your kids, I think you can get away with the non-bunk version for now, but could grow out of it in a few years as the kids demand more personal space.
