We had the same dilemma when looking for a class A. Our kids are nearly the same age I have 2 boys 13 and 8. For us the compromise of bunks vs living space was well worth it. Its nice for the kids to have their own place where all I have to do is close the curtain on the messes they make. Also, as you know having kids means most of your time is going to be spent outside so the living space compromise is even easier to swallow. You have 3 kids and two bunks so you will have to convert the sofa for one but its easier then converting for 3. It also makes campfires nicer for me and my wife because as my kids get tired they go in and put themselves to sleep...I think you and the fam will be very happy with a bunk model...
