As to the "real scoop," you can do a lot by phone and e-mail. I saw a Tiger in person here in California by driving 150 miles to visit a Tiger owner who generously allowed me to inspect his rig. After that I decided I didn't want one, then researched and looked at various other types of RV's for a year (during which I still had my old Toyota RV), then finally decided that the Tiger was the closest to what I wanted. I ordered it via phone and e-mail and had it delivered to my home in Southern California.
Please note that I am the person who always says that there is no perfect RV. I do like my Tiger very much and do not obsess over how it is different from what I might view as perfect. I live with what I've got (for the most part) and don't spend my time and money making endless modifications. Probably the biggest change I have made is that when the original 12V coach batteries died after 7 years, I had the change made to 2 6-volt Lifeline AGMs which required rewiring and relocating battery boxes.
