As David and Holly note, "It's larger on the inside!" And that is one of the most common reactions to the Tiger. Rick and Kathy are wonderful people (and yes, they have been to visit) but Beloved Spouse and I, and the cat, have found lots of room inside the Tiger. You have to learn a certain ballet to get through meal prep, bathing/dressing/tooth brushing, but it is easily mastered.
To which end, we opted for a completely dismountable table and step ladder. This means that the entire floor space is open; it is, in fact, more open than an Earthroamer. And, the table can be used outside.
Remember, I am comparing a Malayan HT with a lengthened Earthroamer - a 3500HD truck against a Ford F550.
You could actually gain more storage by giving up the rear window (you can't see out of it anyway) but it would make the camper much darker and reduce air flow.
