The heavy duty Bilsteins arrived at a total cost of $332 from Tire Rack. These are for a Ford E350/E450. I own a 2007 E350. Here they are.


I will be installing them myself. Due to personal obligations, it won't be for a while. After our cross-country trip this summer, I will report back how they perform.
These HD Bilsteins are replacing four red 3 position adjustable Koni-RV shocks which were set to the stiffest setting. They have 35,000 miles of use.
My rig is 24 feet long with a 158" wheel base. The front was porpoising (up/down) for every little reason which was encouraging inside chaffing on the front tires. I hope the switch will resolve that motion, and hopefully improve the ride and handling in other ways.
