Koni FSD shocks

That is stunning to me. Mine are not adjustable. Koni makes and adjustable but it is not the FSD. Is it possible you got the heavy duty instead of the regular motorhome FSD. Made a huge difference for me over the Bilstein.

I've had both on the same vehicle. The Bilsteins were gas charged so there was resistance on even the smallest road joint/bump that I could feel through the steering and in the coach. The Koni FSD's are NOT gas charged so they gave me a much smoother ride and absorbed the smaller bumps.
As far as big bumps and rough roads, they were both about the same.
Since I traveled mostly on smoother paved roads, I preferred the Koni ride to the harsher Bilstein ride.

My guess is the stiff ride you are complaining about has nothing to do with the shocks. Even though your profile does not state it, I would be willing to bet your coach is on a Ford chassis. If I'm right, that should tell you a lot about why the ride is harsh.

I have a Ford chassis and the Koni FSDs made a huge difference in the ride.

Dave, Yours is a later chassis. The later chassis are not as harsh.

Because of all of the great reports I installed Koni FSDs.

The ride is harsh and I would go back to the Monroes if I wasn't too cheap to pitch the Konis and had the ambition to do the work.

We are snow birding now and only travel a couple of times a year - about 800 miles each way - so I just live with the bad ride.

After I installed FSD's on the front of my F53, I determined that I had wasted my money, I went back to Gas Magnums in the front when the FSD's failed, and they did.

Exactly my experience. Unfortunately rough roads are rough roads.

The Koni FSD's made a huge improvement in the ride of my MH. I wonder if the OP (and others), that still have a harsh ride, have their tires over inflated?
