Hard to say but it sure looked like he was going faster than a lot of traffic. The only real way to judge was how fast the oncoming cars were flying by the other direction before the crash. Also, as others have noted, how long it took to come to a stop. I'd think once he hit the grass it would have slowed down much more quickly. I'd sure love to know tire age and speed at the time of blowout to make me feel better (or worse) about my chances.
