You can great tires at fab prices from Kal Tire. That and they have shops almost across Canada. I just got new ones, and with the 'snowflake' for 1,100.00. It's their house brand, Wildcat. You get good service from them and they have an unwritten agreement with Les Schwab.

I should add, these were my second set. Got 65,000 out of the first.
