Tire opinions

Is the BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All Season a good tire? After I think I finally got my leak resolved, mildew killed and tanks de-stunk I started "moving in" and noticed the tires have slight cracking on the sidewalls. I'm guessing they are pushing their life expectancy.

I can get all 6 for $1200 drive out at the local Discount Tire and in order to not have the wife divorce me I gotta be very budget conscious with this.

1997 Minnie Winnie, I still need to change my signature I guess.

  • As best I can tell they were made in 2007. To be honest I'd roll with them on a daily driver but given the weight and consequences of a blow out on the RV I just don't feel comfortable running them. The cracking appears deeper than I'm just comfortable with. And either I didn't pay much attention when I bought it or one of them has a slow leak.
  • A little spiderwebbing (if that's all it is) isn't necessarily a sign the tires are shot...how old are they? Here's a refresher as to how to interpret the DOT code on the sidewalls.
