You won't damage the tires using the sidewall pressure but the ride will be pretty harsh. Coach mfg. pressure is best. May I suggest you get a remote pressure monitor. Dual tires are hard to visually see if they are low. Many trips have been ruined by an inner tire going flat and not get noticed until it blows. Way cheaper to get a tire fixed because you saw it going low on the monitor than to buy a new one and fix any damaged caused by the flat.
