Yes I read about the 159's. to be honest I found them to be quite decent. The ones I had I got rid of not because of tread but because they were simply so old they were dry rotting. I actually still have two of them one on the inside of the duals on each side.
As far as I understand tires made for RV's are really just a sales gimmick and are no different from truck tires.
The sticker in the door says to use "LT 225/75/r16 load range "e" The "LT" seams to mean light truck. These new tires are load range "E" 10-ply wich I think is what counts. Most of he reviews
I read on tries tires before buying we from use on super duty' pick ups,vans and large SUVs and one motorhome.
However that being said the class C motor homes are not purpose built rigs. This one is simply a Ford Super duty van with the frame extended and a couch added. So it's possible he sticker in the door is not specific to this application although the GVW of 9,400lbs on the rear axles would suggest it is.
