Tire Replacement

Greetings fellow Rv'ers, 1fanman here looking for an opinion, my Bounder still has the original tires and batteries, the tires show hardly any wear at all and are always protected from the elements, the batteries are checked by-weekly when parked for the winter and weekly when in use, my question to you is, should I have them (tires and Batteries) replaced because the are out of service time limits? I would appreciate all serious replies. Thanks and happy camping.

  • ditto

Tires-- assume they are over 10 years old, this is a safety hazard. Replace them.

  • See if you can find a nearby firm that does long-haul truck retreads.

They should have the capability (x-rays, etc.) to evaluate the life left in the tires.

If nothing else, they might buy the tires from you.
