Tire size and budget limit me to: Sumitomo or Hankook

Getting new tires. 275-70-R22.5
Budget allows me to get either:
1. Hankook AH37 J-Rated tire
OR
2. Sumitomo ST727 H-Rated tire

Any feedback would be appreciated.
I've heard positive things about both tires on this site.

I don't think budget is a issue when buying those 2 brands you listed, they have proven themselves as good or better tires at a lower cost compared to higher cost tires that have had issues like Goodyear and Michelin.

Agreed. Those 2 would be on my short list, regardless of price.

Put 6 Hankook AH12s 11R22.5 on the back of my Dynasty 5 years ago and 30K miles. Did not balance and would buy again. In the 15+ years on here I’ve never read a negative comment on Hankook.
  • I'll buy Hankook again, they're good tires. Everything I have read about Sumitomo on this and other forums, lead me to believe you can't go wrong with either tire.

Hankook would be my first choice only because I never tried the Sumitomo,
  • Hankook has made a real name for itself. Quality tires at fair prices.
