Tires for motorhome

I like the Hankook tires I put on our Southwind. I'll buy them again.

Manufacturing is coming back to this country. Lot of these foreign countries like Japan, s Korea and even China are building shops in this country. I buy Toyo tires for my coach.

EPA regulations on pollution makes it too expensive to manufacturer tires in this country. all the major tire manufacturers use asia as the location for their manufacturing facilities.

The Dynatrac Tires are sold by the Heafner Company and is made by the China Manufacturing Association. These tires have a private label and are a private tire brand. The tires are rated as great tires for such a low price.
Back to your question on tires, you might want take a look at Hankook. Korean I believe and very good without paying for a name. I've quit paying for names, myself and have 4 genuine Hercules Chinese tires on the drive wheels right now. They have to wear better than Goodyear 670's I'm betting and for a fraction of the price.
Just wondering what the made America is going to do when they are all made outside the USA and maybe make our own, perhaps?

I recently replaced my tires and I went with the Michelin's. I thought I was buying "American" tires, but I was washing the Motorhome the other day and was reading the sidewall and it says " Made in France". Really ????

I would suggest tires made in the USA. That is all I buy. We still make the best tires. In the past ten years I have used Michelin, BF Goodrich, Dunlop, Firestone, and Goodyear. All of those worked just fine. If you want to know if Dynatrac is made in the USA or just not in China look on the tires. It should say on them.

I realize that some of the tire companies of the tires I have bought are not headquartered in the US, but the tires I bought all were made here. Why not employ our friends and relatives instead of people somewhere else.
