Almost every tire ever made will show some signs of "surface" cracking after a few years. That is tiny little hair line cracks that are no more than a millimeter or two deep.
That is more likely to happen if the tire is constantly exposed to heat and sunlight.
It is the DEGREE and location of the cracks that are important. If they stay tiny, it likely is NOT cause for concern.
