Decided a long time ago that Michelins are over priced for what you get. Michelin XLT M&S are the worst steering tires that I've owned in 50 years--they wander all over the road even though they have great traction in snow and a soft ride. I will not buy them again because of the unsafe steering. I have heard tire store employees commenting about dry rot in Michelins although I have not experienced it myself.
