To DP or not DP

I agree with the ride and other luxury benefits of a DP.
But they are much more expensive. You have a very heavy vehicle (mine is 38K lbs) which has heavy and expensive parts. Tires run $500+ each for just the tire. My air filter cost $160. I'm about to have the 10 shocks replaced and the shock price is $150. And the list goes on.
Just suggesting you know upfront that they can be are are expensive. Many like to suggest that oil etc is the same as a gasser due to the 15K mileage possibility, maybe but the other expenses not so much.
