There are a lot of full time women out there traveling around the country. I know someone in a 40' Phaeton that she drove most of the miles, he did it when it was able to win the wheel away from her.
My brother in law and his wife both drive 45' Provost busses, and they both drive well for a bus company.
No you don't want to take over the controls without first knowing about downshifting, exhaust brakes and how to work them, distance you need while making a right hand turn, ect.
