Well everybody his own thing. We are new to RV and have a short class A 32' with no intention ever to tow something.
I travel a lot for work, car rentals are dirt cheap. Put the insurance on your gold car at no cost.
Kayak, Expedia will always find you a cheap price.
When I travel with the rv it's always for 7000 to 12000 km there is no way pulling my car will ever be more economical than a rental. And up to now i rented once only.I have a bicycle it's cheap and no cost to tow.
I drive my rig into big cities and on the beaches and personally think for me it's more of a worry towing than a useful service.
Some national parks limit the length of the vehicle you drive in.
There even services like Enterprise that will even deliver the rental.
If I was going to stay 6 months in one yes I would tow but usually I stay a max of 3 days.
