If you're looking for a Wrangler to tow, look for a 2012 or newer. Check me on the exact year, but I believe it was then that Jeep stopped putting the locking steering wheel on the Wrangler. That means you can tow it with the key off and not have to worry about disconnecting any batteries, pulling fuses, etc. Mine is a 2014 Wrangler Unlimited and it makes a fantastic toad! With the 340 HP DP I pulled it through the mountains from Florida to Great Smoky Mountains NP and didn't even know it was there. I went with the Invisibrake, too. There is a video on the Road Master site that shows the complete installation of the Invisibrake in a Wrangler, so you don't have to guess where to install stuff, etc. I used a Blue Ox base plate and tow bar; also spent the extra $200 for the Blue Ox special lighting kit - makes hooking up the lights on the Jeep a 20 minute task and works much better (no drilling and installing extra bulbs or diodes). You just pull the tail light out and plug the harness in between the factory harness and the tail light assembly. In my case, we put the little controller box inside one of the tail light cavities with some velcro and then ran the wires to the front.
