Hmmmmmmmm........ How does the van move independently of the dolly, for anything to rub?
Paul - most tow dollies have a turn-table that allows the vehicle to pivot on the axle/tongue of dolly to allow smoother turning for your TOAD. Here's a paragraph I coppied from a tow dolly website to explain it better:
To help you show how simply our Tow Dolly operates, think of it like the coaster wagon you had as a child. You grab the handle on the coaster wagon, which makes you the towing vehicle in this example. The handle, the front wheels and the axle of the coaster wagon operate the same as the base and tongue of the tow dolly. The vehicle mounted on the turntable of the tow dolly, acts just like the bed and rear axle of the coaster wagon. Now visualize a child pulling his wagon around a corner. The tow dolly works on the same simple principle. Sammy - Do you think it would clear if the fenders were changed? I know mine come close on mine and I tow a Sonata, which I think would be much more narrow than the mini-van.
