Toads??

After last night, I have several toads that anyone can have if they just come and get them. They have taken over our small garden pond outside our bedroom. They are tny, ranging from 1" up to about 3". Their sound level is about 110 DB ourside our window. We have spotted and heard as many as 10 at a time on some nights. Sleep is almost impossible. HELP!!

Original toad was a 1996 Ford Contour. 5 spd stick. Now tow a 2007 Chevy HHR automatic (pull a fuse and go) and a Ford Ranger 4WD automatic ("transfer case neutral switch kit"). No issues with any of them.

Anything with a manual transmission. My 2010 Ford Fusion has a chip ignition key which means NO STEERING COLUMN LOCK, NO TRANSMISSION LOCK, and therefore no key in the ignition while towing! Woo Hoo.

The towing procedure is:

1. Put car in neutral
2. Put key in your pocket
3. Drive

For me: the aggravation and issues with automatic transmissions and requisite transmission locks are not worth it.
