When we started using holding tanks in our old rigs back in the late 60's the standard test was to put a couple sheets of tolet paper in a glass of water. Wait a couple min then put your hand over the top and shake it kind of easy. If it comes apart its fine to use. Been using that test for over 45 years of RVing and never had any problems. In our travels we have ended up using Tolet paper brands we never heard of but the test always told us if it was good to use in our holding tanks..
