Toilet pedal

The toilet flush pedal on out ERA 70X often goes too far down and then sticks open because it goes outside the slide seal. It is hard to not open it too far and repeat the problem. I put some fairly firm rubber under the pedal. Now when opening it opens much more controllably and no longer "slams" open. The thick rubber prevents the pedal from going too far and the rubber also gives it a "soft" landing so we do not accidently push too far. As soon as resistance is felt, it is open enough, and that position can be easily held until the flush is completed.
