Starts to make the fuel prices seem pretty reasonable. Basically that is what you get when you have a monopoly. Government's primary purpose is to collect funds, not serve the people. If some people get ripped off in the process, no one cares because they don't have to.
The shameful thing is, I get charged for 3 axles, and weigh less than 13K lbs fully loaded. My parents get charged for 2 axles at 22K lbs. Tandem singles is safer than dualies because of increase side to side stability, so therefore the state discourages vehicle safety!
