Follow the maintenance check list every year, engine, trans, air system, brakes, batteries, plumbing, generator, etc. being proactive is better than reactive. Spending time stranded isn't any fun.
It isn't a car and doesn't drive like one, and shouldn't. Just because you can go 80 doesn't mean it's the right thing to do ( or safe).
Check your tires for cracks and uneven wear as well as correct loaded pressures every trip.
Lube your steps frequently.
Keep extra fuses on board, extra light bulbs for exterior and interior. ( bought all ours on Amazon).
Fuel stabilizer when sitting for long periods.
Understand how air brakes work, especially when the LPA goes off while driving.
Know how to handle a front tire failure while driving.
