Triple E and Coach House come to mind. If you’re considering used, take a look at the Bigfoot ( made in Canada). They are no longer producing motor homes, but those were good units. Our “used” Bigfoot has one of the highest fresh water capacities of the class c units(if that is important to you), and is well insulated for cold weather use. Of course insulation works “both ways”....easier to cool in “hot” climates. All of the above were/are “pretty pricey” units though.
Most of the “smaller” class c’s have the Ford chassis. Try for the E 450 chassis, gives a little more suspension for the heavy unit, and “generally” has a lower gear ratio rear differential.....which gives greater towing capacity (for toads or boats), and better hill climbing performance ( nice in mountainous terrain and some campgrounds)
