Tow Bar Shields

Maybe you guys can help out the new guy with Tow Bar Shields. I was looking at THIS ONE that someone suggested in an earlier thread. They say it may not work with some diesel pushers because of exhaust temp's I assume.
What's everybody using to protect the vehicle being towed?
Thanks for any advice we can share.

    Just by looking, it seems the "Protect-a-Tow" is basically the same thing as the Roadmaster Defender. Yet, the Roadmaster is more than $100. Any idea why?

    Have you asked the Protec-A-Tow folks about the exhaust issue? As I recall, they have some suggestions for the rear exhaust issues.
