Towable? Mini Cooper
My toad is wearing out, I'm sad to say. Anyone know if a Mini Cooper can be towed? What if it is a stick (manual) trans? Would like one, I think but it's got to tow or I'll be looking for another...

We tow a 2008 mini clubman S 6 speed.2008 and newer steering doesn't lock, no key in ignition just put in nuetral and go.Used roadmaster base plts.$399.00 from American rvcompany,stowmaster tow bar craigslist $100.00,magnetic lights from roadmaster $69.99.ready to go.My son and i installed base plt 1.5-2hrs,not bad came with good instructions.Mag lights are a little pricey but come with a much better cord, magnets are very strong no movement come with protective plastic pcs no marks on roof.Installed last spring towed aprox. 2500 miles every thing worked great,if it wasn't for rearview camera would't know car was back there.
