Just read the post regarding towing a Honda CRV and learned a few things. Does anybody have advice about towing a 2000 Subaru Outback 5 spd manual transmission Thanks

I removed my steering wheel lock on the Subie so I wouldn't have to leave keys in it. I have pulled an 07 for about 15000 miles without any issues.
On a related topic, I wired the yellow signal lights on the Subie to blink on turn instead of the standard trailer scheme to blink the reds. Other drivers responded better giving me space to change lanes once I made the wiring modification.
