  • What about SmartTire? Anyone hear about it? Anyone use it?
  • I have had the Tire Minder system on our motorhome and our toad for over 2 years now and have had excellent service out of the product, and excellent service from TireMinder, the manufacturer. From this experience I would certainly recommend it.

Prior to the Tire Minder I had a Pressure Pro system for several years and had good experience with that too. I primarily changed to the Tire Minder because I wanted changeable batteries in the transmitters on the wheels.

  • I just picked up a Tire Minder from CW. I think they are on sale right now. I got the M66. It comes with 6 transmitters and a repeater. I also purchased 4 more transmitters from my toad. Very easy to install and relatively easy to program, after you read the instructions. They will send you free battery replacements for the valve stem transmitters.

In my other post about my tire blowout, several recommended a TPMS system to help with warnings before failure. Any specific recommendations besides the TST?
