After suspending our DirecTV contract for the winter when we reactivate it in the Spring sometimes we have to call them to do something magic. Sometimes they want me to power down the Receiver for 30 seconds or so and plug it back in. It's the classic unplug it and plug it back in electronic fix. We've never had a problem with anything electronic or mechanical in more than 10 years with our dome unit.
