We didn't make that big of a change, only from 27' to 24', but that has made a huge difference in the tail length and overhang. I was tired of dragging the tail every time there was a bit of a dip. I even created a tail dragger wheel for that thing.
The new Chevy is so much more comfortable to drive.

Your change is drastic - you'll enjoy the ease & pleasure of running a 25 footer after dealing with 40'.
