Nope, it's too cold to be snow. It's freezing rain. - Sully2Explorer

Nope...its called RAIN! It can come down as snow for sure...but depending on the temp and air conditions further up in the sky....it can hit the ground as rain! - Executive45Explorer IIIIsn't rain at -12 degrees called SNOW.....:h........Dennis
- DaveinetExplorerApparently, whatever we are sending you from Chicago is going to warm up on its way down. Its supposed to hit -20 here tonight and a high of -12 tomorrow. We have pretty good wind here and its been snowing on and off since yesterday. We have over a foot on the ground and they can not keep the east-west roads plowed. People are getting around OK, but the east-west roads have several inches of loose snow on them. All roads have packed snow on them, with patches where you can see the road. This is a bit unusual for Chicago, as typically we get cold, but very little snow.
