This person was trying to sell me the Trailblazer. I asked him this question and this is why he posted it to the forum. I put a $500 deposit on the RV at his request but a week later I found another RV more suitable for me. He will not give me back my deposit claiming he took down his ad for a week and people don't get their deposits back. Craigslist ads are free.
When we made the deal, he did not say the deposit was non-refundable and it was understood the sale was tentative until I could travel there and see the RV in person.
This person seems legit but is quietly scamming people out of their money. If nothing else he is not an upright person. Many people are in bad times and he shouldn't be trying to trick people out of their hard earned money. Make it honestly.
