Trailer valet for towing 8X20 Bravo car hauler

Now that I am the proud owner of a Winnebago Access Premier, I am preparing for my spring travels. I am considering purchasing two items to help me travel. I am looking at a Bravo car hauler, 8.5 x 20. It is very heavy and I found (online) a device to help me maneuver the trailer. It is called the Trailer Valet, has anyone used one of these?
  • When you use a weight distribution hitch it increases the weight the hitch is rated for. Why? Only a guess. The weight distribution greatly reduces any shock caused by bumps.
My hitch is rated 5000 lb. tow, 500 weight on hitch.
When I added the WD hitch it went to 6000 lb. tow, 600 weight.
    And it handles/tows much better.
  • I may be missing something here but a Bravo car hauler of that size weighs in at about 3500#. The MH has a 5K towing limit, what will you be able to haul?
  • Your new RV has a max.towing capacity of 5,000#. I know you have thought of it, but
Be sure to determine just what the combined weight of your trailer plus the weight of what you will be hauling will be. It's dangerous to overload your hitch and increase your overall stopping distance.
