Trailer with boat on top, car on bottom

I think my favorite stacker was a custom build by Kaufman Trailers. I watched a fishing tournament pro unload his upper boat deck by hydraulically tilting and extending the support arms down and outwards to the rear for launching, with a Cadillac Escalade still loaded backwards on the lower deck. It cleared the hood by about 6". I don't think I want to know what that one cost!

Some of the heavy duty ones have the upper level electrically lowered. A nice one I saw, the SUV pulled out from the lower level, and the upper level lowered down so you could use the trailer to launch the boat directly, even with the SUV if you wanted.

I imagine this is one of those that gets up in to the $20K range as discussed.

Over the years I've seen lots of them in AZ. last one was at Cattail Cove SP. The guy winched is boat up on top and drove his car on the bottom.

No there is no big market for stacker trailers, spent over 2 months looking for a used one and no luck, the new ones cost $20,000 and are made for big boats and full size trucks, did not want a big stacker and spend $20,000 so I had mine custom built for $5000

To the OPer the open stackers are lighter than the enclosed stackers and cost a lot less dollars, also easier to load and unload and the open stacker also becomes a boat trailer to launch boat.
