Transfer Switch Location

BTW - the IOTA switch that I used is larger than the Intellitec relay delay switch. Hope you have room for it.

On my RV when I found the transfer switch I dang near passed out in shock.. I will explain why

I did a "Virtual" visualization of the RV. (read that all in my mind) and thought about the location of the power inlet, the location of the generator, and the location of the power distribution panel.. And thought.

Now where would be the best place to intersect so as to not spend more money than you need on wire?

Well, in almost eaactly that spot was a cupbord with the "lower" shelf space blocked off.. . That was it.

I mean, who EVER heard of it being in the LOGICAL spot? (Why I was in shock)

Today, it is still there, and the Autoformer is there too.

Dennis, yours will be in the space very close behind the main breaker panel. I assume you have the Intellitec ECC system and associated transfer switch on the 20amp generator feed.

Here is the manual for that, if you don't already have it.

BTW - That Intellitec transfer switch is quite expensive. I replaced mine with a standard 30amp IOTA transfer switch when I had the same problem.

Hopefully a fellow PA driver will come along and help you out. They put those things everywhere, mine is under the storage shelf under the bed.
