Let me put it this way: Many RVers have a few screws loose.. (The kind you tighten with a tool however)
It is a good idea to check 'em from time to time,
The other thing: When transferring (Shore to genny or other way around)
Minimize power use turn off Water heater Fridge and AIR CONDITIONERS (leave A/C off for AT LEAST 3 minutes) or better yet turn off MAIN breaker.
Switching,with high load especially with inductive loads (A/C) is very hard on the solenoids and may weld the contacts making them.. History,
