Transmission key pad won't lite up? Won't start
99 monaco Windsor, where do I begin, batteries are good, I can start it by jumping across the solenoid but have no idea where to begin on the trans key pad issue? Help

If I understand correct you have a bad ignition solenoid. Are you sure that solenoid doesn't supply power to the Allison pad as well as the rest of the dash?
