Paw Paw, Excellent write up. Having been involved in the NHRA circuit for many years and watching the BIL'S 'race team ' head out to another event ,even having two drivers for each rig is tough on these 20 year
olds. Ditto's on non refundable deposits and length of stay requirements. BTW, many RV'ers plan way in advance and space can and will be limited. My advice FWIW. Try your local events first. Book
and reserve and get the feel of it. You will have issues with your rig, it just happens. Just going to a race for 4 days, like Vegas, exhausts me and driving just 250 miles to Pomona tuckers me out .
Having fun is tiring. It sounds great but test the waters first. My goal was to fly into each race, rent a car and help the team but even that kicks your butt. The rigs would leave here in S. Cal and the
drivers did 4 on and 4 off and stopped only for fuel headed to Gainsville. It's tough.
